Does anyone know how to pronounce this? At 420 Grand we have a very nice apricot tree, and it has slowly produced a few bags of slightly raw fruit. Until now. When the whole crop is finally ripe, it is finally ripe. There are about 24 hours between “good” and “brown mush.”
Always been "ape-ricot" in my house.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jess. I wonder if it is a regional difference: Growing up on the east coast is seems like it was mostly app-ricot. But, in the western US, people seem confident that it is ape-ricot.
DeleteAnd while I lived in the midwest for 12 years of my life (Indiana and Nebraska), I have strong western influences, so ape wild we go.
