The girls have been riding their mountain bikes every day. This weekend they wanted me to join them at Eagle Point. We went out yesterday and I turned a pleasant morning into a death march, pushing us all to the top of Tushar Ridge in a long hour of steep climbing. They had bounced back by today, and we went over to the gentler—Elk Meadows—side of the ski area. There are a couple of nice trails with steady climbing, but nothing too steep. They each rode eight or ten miles of it. Of the two of them, VSO is a better technical rider, but EDO has the lungs.
